New MTK models supported from PRELOADER mode



Enhanced support for newer MTK SoCs, extending our solution to the latest devices where bootrom mode may not be accessible. With this new improvement the following SoCs became supported*:

• MediaTek Dimensity 9200 (MT6985)
• MediaTek Dimensity 9000 (MT6983)
• MediaTek Dimensity 8000 (MT6895)
• MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Pro (MT6886)
• MediaTek Helio G99 (MT8781)

As mentioned before, Chimera automatically tries to switch the connected device to bootrom mode and detects if it fails. After that, you can push the Try a different method button on the dialog shown and Chimera will try to initiate a connection to the device in preloader mode.
